Built for the gap between projects
Thriftivery exists because idle capital is a liability. We built a disciplined framework so freelancers and private investors can keep money working while they wait for the next opportunity.
From a shared problem to a working system
Thriftivery started with a simple observation: the people most exposed to irregular income — freelancers, consultants, independent operators — were also the least served by traditional capital management tools. Bank accounts paid nothing. Generic investment products weren't built for cash that needed to move on short notice.
We set out to close that gap. Instead of another one-size-fits-all product, we built a methodology that treats short-term capital with the same rigor institutional desks apply to long-term portfolios — scaled down, simplified, and made accessible to individuals managing their own funds between contracts.
What began as an internal framework for a small group of independent operators has grown into the approach Thriftivery now applies for everyone who works with us.
Keep capital productive, not parked
Every decision we make traces back to one goal: reducing the cost of capital sitting idle between projects.
Freelancers and private investors don't have the luxury of locking funds away for years. They need liquidity, clarity, and a system that respects how irregular their income actually is. Thriftivery is built around that reality rather than around a theoretical long-term investor who doesn't need access to their own money.
We measure our work by how well capital is positioned the moment our clients need it — not by how complex our process looks on paper.
What guides how we operate
These principles shape every recommendation we make and every piece of intelligence we deliver.
Transparency first
We explain the reasoning behind every allocation strategy in plain terms. If we can't justify a recommendation clearly, we don't make it.
Liquidity respected
Our clients' capital often needs to move quickly. We never treat flexibility as an afterthought — it's a core requirement in everything we build.
Discipline over noise
We filter out market chatter and speculative trends in favor of structured, repeatable processes that hold up under pressure.
Built for individuals
We design for freelancers and private investors managing their own money — not institutions with entirely different constraints.
Accountability
We stand behind the frameworks we provide and revisit them regularly rather than treating any strategy as fixed forever.
Plain language
Financial jargon hides more than it reveals. We write and speak the way we'd want a strategy explained to us.
A team structured around one job
Rather than a sprawling organization, Thriftivery is deliberately structured around the specific problem we solve.
Allocation framework
The group responsible for building and refining the core logic behind how capital is positioned between active projects.
Market intelligence
The team that tracks conditions relevant to short-term capital decisions and translates them into usable guidance.
Direct access
The people who work directly with freelancers and private investors to apply the framework to their specific situation.
